The Luni-Solar Calendar
The Luni-solar calendar is based on each month, or lunation, beginning at dawn following the moon's conjunction with the sun. The first day of each month is called New Moon Day and the Seventh Day afterwards is called the Sabbath day or Shabbat.
The New Moon Day and the Shabbat are observed as Feast Days, by preparing meals the day before, abstaining from common labor and coming together to worship and praise The Most High YHWH ELOHIM.
Each month consists of either 29 or 30 days. Four complete weeks of seven days follows: six days of work, then the Sabbath which always occurs on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of the Luni-solar months. In the 30 day months, the last Sabbath is followed by a translation day, then New Moon Day.
Joshua 24:15
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve YAH, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve YHWH.
In agreement with Colossians 2:16, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.
I am not here to condemn any of my brethren or sisters for where they are in their walk with YAH in regards to his revelation to you about how you honor His Sabbath days, Feast Days, and New Moons, but to provide you with revelation.
I can only speak to what YAH has revealed to me to be true to his MOADAH "Set-Apart Convocations" (appointed times/festivals).

Man is not made righteous by solely keeping the commandments and feast days. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (YAHSHUA), and shalt believe in thine heart that God (YAH) hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God (YAH) revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Weekly Sabbath
– We keep YAH’s Seventh day Sabbath. (Exodus 20:8-11)
– We Prepare our meals for the Sabbath the day before. (Exodus 16:23, Exodus 35:3, Mark 15:42)
– The Sabbath is determined by the New Moon and is not fixed to a day on the Gregorian Calendar. (Precept Enoch 77:14; Example Jubilees 7:1-3)
– The Sabbath begins sunrise of the 7th day and ends the sunrise of the next day.
Many Hebrews will argue that a day begins from sunset to sunset. My family and I had questions about this as well. So my advice is to pray to YAH that He will reveal to you the truth. As the head of my household I base my understanding of a Day on YAH’s definition of a DAY. Gen 1:5, Gen 1:14-19.
From Morning to Evening to the next Morning is One Day. Light – Dark – Light (One Day)
Many Hebrews will argue that Sabbath is on Saturday perpetually. I’m not here to debate with my brothers and sisters who keep Saturday as Shabbat. We are all doing our best to keep the fourth commandment. This should never become a topic for religious competition or division within the body. Ultimately the Shabbat is meant to be a perpetual reminder of the rest and shalom (peace) YAH'S people will enter into when YAHSHUA establishes his Kingdom here on the Earth. Zephaniah 3:8-20
Philippians 2:12-15 KJV - 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is ELOHIM which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
The New Moon
The New Moon occurs according to the book of Enoch Chapter 77:14, when it is wholly extinguished, its light is consumed in heaven; and on the first day it is called the new moon, for on that day light is received into it. In other words, by the 28th or the 29th day of the month, the Moon will be completely dark again. The New Moon will have a small sliver of light in the bottom right corner, when it is spotted the night before, we celebrate New Moon Day the next Day.
Many Hebrews will argue that the New Moon is when the Moon is Full and bright, but that is furthest from the truth according to Enoch 77:5-6. When the moon rises, it appears in heaven; and the half of a seventh portion of light is all which is in it. 6. In fourteen days the whole of its light is completed. So the Full Moon will occur around the second Sabbath, the 14th/15th Lunar Day (Not the gregorian date) of the Month.
Monthly Sabbath
We Honor YAH’s New Moon with a feast and a shofar blast. One example of this is King Saul’s feast.
1 Sam 20:5; 1 Sam 20:18; Ezekiel 46:3; Ezekiel 46:6, Psalm 81:3
Annual Sabbaths (Leviticus 23)
Passover (Exodus 12)
Feast of Unleavened Bread (Exodus 23)
Feast of Weeks (Exodus 34; Deutoronomy 16)
Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23)
Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23)
Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23)
Jubilee (Leviticus 25:8-12)
A Jubilee is a 49-year cycle consisting of seven weeks of years (7 times 7).
However, the Jubilee year is the 50th year of a 49-year cycle which is the same as the 1st year of the next 49-year cycle. In the Bible, Jubilee is declared in the 7th month of the 49th year declaring the next year to be the Jubilee year.
8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
